A BIT ABOUT US

We welcome all to our services, irrespective of age, race, creed or sexuality.  We welcome all who respect the ideals of freedom, reason and tolerance in all religious belief. We learn from the teachings of many spiritual leaders including Jesus of Nazareth, the Buddha, and many others.

Please do explore the website, and if you like what you see why not come and be with us one Sunday.  If you'd like to talk through anything you find here, including baptisms, child-namings and blessings, weddings and funerals, please do 'Contact Us' via the site, e-mail at kentunitarians@gmail.com, or call the Kent  Minister, Rev. Daniel Costley on 01732 465248.

Welcome to the Kent Unitarians website.  Kent Unitarians is the group name covering five Unitarian congregations across the county: Chatham; Dover; Maidstone; Sevenoaks and Tenterden.  This site gives an overview of our outlook and approach.  The 'Congregations' page will give details on each one, with a link to each congregation's own website.

Unitarians have been present in Kent since the 1650s.  With roots in the Christian dissenting tradition, Unitarians continue to evolve and challenge religious dogma, recognising the value of all world faiths and other approaches to spiritual exploration.
